CDR/Grayling colleagues run to support stroke recovery hospital
On 14 December the CDR/Grayling team surprised one of our colleagues, Axelle Vandermeerssche, by organising an hour-long charity run in the Warande Park near its office.
All participants braved the cold and dreary Brussels weather to collect funds for the revalidation hospital Inkendaal in Vlezenbeek (Inkendaal.be), where Axelle’s father would have started the long road to recovery after having suffered a stroke, had he not passed away on 1 December.
In total, the sponsored run, together with generous donations from Grayling and its staff, raised approximately €1,000 for Inkendaal, which three Grayling members presented during the popular annual ‘Music for Life’ Charity event, held this year in Wachtebeke.
